The Social Security Benefit Statement—also known as the SSA-1099 or SSA-1042S—shows the total benefits you received during the previous year.
Supplemental Security Income (SSI) payments aren’t taxed. If SSI is the only benefit you receive, you won’t receive a Benefit Statement.
